Ganesha in Geometry – A Creative Celebration of Ganeshotsav!
At Ducks n Sharks, we recently concluded an exciting and creative celebration of Ganeshotsav with our Ganesha in Geometry Free Online Workshop. This unique event brought participants from all walks of life together, to celebrate the festival in a modern, artistic format by creating Ganesha using geometric shapes.
A Modern Twist on Tradition
In the spirit of Ganeshotsav, participants learned to depict Lord Ganesha through the power of geometry, using simple tools like drawing paper, pencils, scales, and colors. Whether young or old, everyone had the chance to bring their own Ganesha to life through carefully designed shapes and vibrant colors.
This workshop was not just about creating art—it was about blending tradition with creativity, making this cultural celebration even more engaging and memorable.
Why It Was Special:
- Engaging Creative Expression: The participants explored their artistic sides by creating geometrical forms of Ganesha. With step-by-step guidance, they were able to produce unique and personal masterpieces that can be cherished for years to come.
- Fun for All Ages: Open to anyone aged 6 and above, this workshop was designed for both kids and adults. It became a wonderful family bonding experience, where parents and children enjoyed working on their creations together while learning about shapes and forms.
- Interactive & Engaging Format: This wasn’t just an ordinary art class—it was a highly interactive experience! Participants shared their work, asked questions, and received live feedback from our expert instructor, Neha Deshpande, all while celebrating the festive spirit.
Materials Needed:
To keep things simple, participants needed only a few basic supplies:
- Drawing paper
- Pencil & Scale
- Brush pens or Crayons, Sketch pens
- Painter’s tape
This minimalistic approach ensured that creativity flourished without being overshadowed by complex materials.
The Therapeutic Aspect
One of the key takeaways from the workshop was how relaxing and calming the process of creating art can be. Working with simple geometric shapes, participants were able to focus on mindfulness and enjoy the therapeutic benefits of painting. This aspect of art as a meditative, stress-relieving activity resonated with all participants.
Free Registration & Growing Community
The Ganesha in Geometry workshop was entirely free, making it accessible to all who wanted to join in this creative celebration. With participants coming from different parts of the country, it created a vibrant online community that engaged, shared, and supported each other throughout the session.
